Making Travel Fun Again!
We have sons in NY and LA....airfares from western NC (where we live) are so expensive so we drove to NYC and spent time with one son and the city sights...hopped on Virgin America going from NY to LAX expecting the traditional endurance flights we have had in the recent past....but this was our first time to fly Virgin America and what a treat!! The plane was so spacious and comfortable, the lighting was subtle and soothing and getting to order from our seat on the individual screen was great! No waiting for the bulky cart to make it down the aisle, food and beverages were brought to you when you ordered them on the interactive screen, along with movies, games, TV, radio and music. Love that service. The bathrooms were large enough to turn around in! The plane looked and smelled so clean, it was a delight to fly both ways, and we have NOT felt that about flying in a LONG LONG time! Can't wait to fly with Virgin America again, just hope they get more routes. PS...The food was good! Please don't tell everyone or there won't be enough seats for us! No kidding it is like service we used to know but with even greater technology.
