Lesson Learned
Recently another airline began direct flights from Vegas to my home town in Northern CA. As much as I knew I would miss Virgin I couldn't pass up the chance to avoid the drive from SFO & back. Flying "direct" would save me a lot of time & money in rental cars...
"Long story short"... I have been far too spoiled by Virgin! My first trip (and last) was a nightmare! I arrived at the ticket counter 1 HOUR before my flight & it was CLOSED! I called the airline & they scolded me for not showing up 2 HOURS early & had no problem telling me I was S.O.L.!
I have been in similar situations on Virgin & they franticly went out of their way to accommodate me.
