computing on line
I left for my vacation in California with some work left to do, about 3 hours of work. Yea! Virgin America has internet so I can get it all done on my way to California, using that "dead" time while on the plane.
So I checked into the GoGo website, paid my 12.95 and watched my power quickly dwindle. I asked my flight attendants about this and they said that there wasn't enough electricity for all seats to have power all the time without short circuiting the airplane's electricity.
So I worked until my computer died, frustrated that my 12.95 hadn't been spent well, and that I was going to have to work in San Francisco while I was hoping to be relaxing.
An hour later I pulled out my computer to try to work again and was able to work for another few minutes before I had insufficient power and my computer died.
Once more I tried again for another 1/2 hour, so maybe rather than the 5 hours of work I was able to work for only and hour and a half. I'm hoping this flight is better with regard to the power for my computer.
Everything else on the flight was great except for the nickel and diming which I understand is needed to keep the airline alive.
I'd like reimbursement for this GoGo expense I wasn't able to use.
